TobinLeff Advises Yes& Agency On Its Acquisition of Beyond Definition
TobinLeff is pleased to announce it served as the M&A advisor to Yes& Agency on its acquisition of Beyond Definition, bringing the two parties together and advising in the acquisition process.
The acquisition allows Yes& to enhance the depth and breadth of its capabilities in research, brand strategy, design, and digital, while adding unique experience in naming and publication design.
Yes& Chairman Jeb Brown noted, “TobinLeff was a key member of our M&A team. They uncovered the prospect and shepherded us both through the process. They helped keep the discussions going when they might have gone off-track, and provided sound guidance on the deal structure and Due Diligence. They were critical to the success of our transaction.”
As a part of the acquisition, Yes& is bringing on board all Beyond Definition employees.
“It is fantastic that an agency with so many talents and such a strong brand has chosen to become part of Yes&,” said Yes& President & CEO Robert W. Sprague. “For us, it’s not about how big we are; it’s about the expanded possibilities that the Beyond Definition team will bring to our clients—and also to all of our staff.”
“What resonated with me is the Yes& brand and what it stands for – positivity + possibility. Similar to Beyond Definition, this brand represents doing more for clients, delivering more than what was asked for,” said Debbie Bates-Schrott, Founder and CEO of Beyond Definition.
“What a terrific adventure and pleasure to work with Jeb and Bob, a pretty much legendary team,” said TobinLeff partner Holt Vaughn. “And of course, getting to know the dynamic group at Beyond Definition was wonderful. Bringing great folks together for an exciting vision of the future is an amazing opportunity. Working with Yes& on this and in previous deals is the kind of truly rewarding work we love to do, helping great agencies maximize and monetize business value.”
